ABOUT PORTO & POSITION: 

To support our European intensive growth, the Group has decided to build a Center based in Porto with the aim to provide administrative and financial support to the European subsidiaries. In this context, we are seeking for a BI Senior Specialist / Developer.
  

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, develop, and implement SAP BI solutions using SAP BW 7.5 on HANA, ABAP language, CDS views, HANA views, Analysis for Office, SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI;
• Gather business requirements, analyze data sources, and design data models to support reporting and analytics needs;
• Develop and maintain SAP BW data models, Data Providers, transformations, and data extraction processes;
• Design and develop SAP reports, and dashboards to visualize data and provide actionable insights;
• Perform data integration, data cleansing, and data transformation activities to ensure data quality and integrity;
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to understand BI requirements, priorities, and objectives;
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP BI solutions and data integration processes;
• Developing and optimising solutions on MS Fabric;
• Design and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards;
• Promote best practices in data modeling, report design, and Power BI governance;
• Ensure consistency and synergy between SAP BI and Microsoft BI environments;
• Stay up to date with the latest SAP BI technologies, tools, and best practices;
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior developers and BI analysts;
• Provide user support (training, access management).

PROFILE:

• Proven experience as a SAP BI Specialist/Developer, with at least 6 years of experience;
• Strong knowledge of SAP BW 7.5 on HANA;
• Proficency in ABAP language, CDS views, HANA views;
• Sound experience in Analysis for Office, SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI;
• Proven development experience with MS Fabric, Python, SQL and Power Query;
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams;
• Fluent in English is mandatory. Fluent in French would be a plus;
• 5 minimum years of experience as a developer in business intelligence;
• Relevant SAP or Microsoft certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate - Business Intelligence) are desirable.
