ABOUT PORTO & POSITION:

To support our European intensive growth, the Group has decided to build a Center based in Porto with the aim to provide administrative and financial support to the European subsidiaries. In this context, we are seeking for a Controlling Team leader english speaker.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support the recruitment and onboarding of new controllers in Porto,
• Facilitate the training of controllers in partnership with the French CFO organization,
• Oversee the transfer of controlling activities and related documentation,
• Manage and support the team in executing tasks related to Financial closing calendar, analytic accounting, financial reporting production, analysis, and forecasting,
• Establish KPIs and SLAs to monitor the effectiveness of transferred activities.

PROFILE:

• Master's degree in a relevant field,
• 7-8 years of experience in controlling, with at least one prior role as a team leader,
• Proficiency in SAP, Excel, and BI tools,
• Fluent in English and French proficiency is a plus,
• Strong leadership and team management skills,
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities,
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills,
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
