ABOUT PORTO & POSITION:

To support our European intensive growth, the Group has decided to build a large Shared Services Center based in Porto. In this context, we are seeking a Fullstack Developer Junior to join our Shared Services Centre and support the overall ongoing Transformation Program. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Front Office Digital Factory team, the junior fullstack developer will be responsible for maintaining and evolving three in-house applications related to consultant skills & careers, staffing, and organizational sales. Following Digital Factory practices and guidelines.

 The challenge we have for you:

• Support and maintain custom solutions developed in Java, SQL, Angular;
• Analyze and provide support requested by Product Owners & Business Analysts;
• Participate in problem resolution following the SLA;
• Investigate the database and Java code to identify issues;
• Collaborate with L2 solutions analysts to provide L3 support;
• Report risks and issues to senior developers.

Projects & Evolutions:

• Participate in SCRUM ceremonies (Sprint planning, Sprint review, Daily stand-ups);
• Ensure that User Stories expectations are well understood;
• Analyze specifications, and provide technical solutions, and development estimates with guidance from senior developers;
• Develop the requested features following best practices and lead dev guidelines;
• Assist in testing and communicate delivery status to the Scrum team;
• Collaborate with QA teams to validate developments and ensure quality;
• Contribute to Quality Assurance goals (improve coverage of unit tests, API tests, etc.).

• Knowledge of Java, Angular;
• Strong SQL skills;
• Basic knowledge of design patterns;
• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively;
• Motivation to learn and adapt to new technologies and practices;
• Fluent English.
