Job description
ABOUT PORTO:
To support our European intensive growth, the Group has decided to build a Center based in Porto with the aim to provide administrative and financial support to the European subsidiaries. We are looking for a SAP FI&CO and management consolidation Expert. You will be a Partner for the SAP Financial and Controlling teams from the CIO organization, around this specific scope.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Gather and facilitate business process discussions, solution design and documentation, configuration, test, and end-user support
- Provide inputs in promoting and implementing best-practice solutions (business processes and SAP functionality); proactively address problems and troubleshoot Project issues
- Provides technical and/or functional direction in the analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and enhancement of large-scale, enterprise applications projects.
- Part of SAP Center of Excellence (CoE) team accountable to achieve exceptional services and support of SAP FI&CO functions and management consolidation and solution recommendation
- Work closely with our operations teams and business partners to fully understand the user functionality, pain points, and areas of improvements within our applications. And to lead this transformation.
- Assist and help the delivery of key projects and enhancements and assist in reviewing and improving policies and procedures
- Validate or challenge the way things have always been done and identify areas for process and/or support tool improvements and efficiencies
- Support SAP Finance function, consolidation management and applications, including troubleshooting, configuration, maintenance, projects, and enhancements.
- Scope and estimate business requirements.
- Resolve Service Request tickets in accordance with agreed upon SLAs.
- Support the deployment of production applications and provide post-production support
- Participate in system and applicate upgrades, enhancements, and resolutions.
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with internal business, technical, and external consulting teams.
- Identifies, assesses and solves business problems for area of responsibility, where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
- Support another SAP team members from an operational point of view in regards with SAP FI&CO / management consolidation implementations , enhancements and support.
- You will be able to work around corrective and evolutive maintenance tasks, as well as related to Support and Helpdesk for end users, when needed.
Minimum/Essential Skills/Qualifications
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
- Able to understand and define the real needs and requirements of various stakeholders.
- Problem resolution, negotiation and influencing skills.
- Ability to engage both developers and business partners to achieve target outcomes.
- Experience around requirement analysis and processes analysis/improvements in regards with the implementation and use of an ERP system
- Experience creating documentation such as business case documentation or business requirements summaries.
- Experience moving requirements to Design phase and after to setup and configuration.
- Highly motivated, analytical, flexible, agile and dynamic, committed person, and used to work within an international and multicultural team; excellent level of communication skills with different profiles/ professional levels
- Technical expertise around ERP/management consolidation customizations, developments, enhancements and improvements, and interface management.
- Highly motivated for the Digital Transformation and taken advantage of the new technologies and SAP versions to promote and lead the change and the transformation of the Company.
- High level of understanding of Financial and controlling business processes
- Strong knowledges on SAP: Expertise FI (AP, AR, GL, AA) and CO modules; Knowledges of SAP-PS (Project System) and FSCM (Financial Supply Chain Management) would be appreciate; Knowledges of LSMW, IDOC, ABAP reading
- Knowledge and experience around consolidation processes and tools/systems/modules
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Engineering/ Economics or Business Administration/ Technology bachelor’s or master's degree (or equivalent years of experience). [BAC+5]
- Knowledge and experience: SAP S4HANA; management consolidation tool such as SAP BPC; and EPM Tool (OneStream, BPC, or another one)
- From 8 to 10 years of experience working across a range of implementations/projects, maintenance activities and upgrades/migrations of SAP ERP.
- Background in Enterprise or industrial CIO organisation is preferred.
- English level: demonstrated high level (or equivalent official certification). French language will be a “plus”
- Certified in SAP FICO module or OneStream will be high valuable. Exceptional knowledge around SAP FI&CO suite is in any case mandatory
ABOUT THE POSITION:
As a SAP FICO and management consolidation Expert, the ideal candidate will have an excellent understanding of the SAP FI&CO modules, and knowledges about management consolidation. A high level of knowledge around business process expertise, and leverage this knowledge to design and deliver the best and modern solution within the SAP ecosystem ; being consequently a key partner for the Business Areas. Also, you are someone able to understand the editor roadmap in regards with SAP S4HANA and ensure consistency and recommendations with respect to the Alten solution.
