ABOUT PORTO & POSITION:
To support our European intensive growth, the Group has decided to build a Center based in Porto with the aim to provide administrative and financial support to the European subsidiaries. In this context, we are looking for a Senior HR Generalist spanish speaker M/F.
This person plays a pivotal role in supporting the Human Resources department by performing a wide range of administrative and operational tasks. This position requires a high degree of organization, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of HR policies and procedures.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. HR Records Management:
• Maintain and update employee records, including personal and employment information, in compliance with company policies and relevant regulations,
• Oversee the record-keeping process to ensure accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality of HR documents,
2. Employee Onboarding and Offboarding:
• Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, including paperwork, orientation, and training arrangements,
• Process employee terminations and handle necessary offboarding paperwork,
3. Benefits Administration:
• Assist employees with benefits enrollment, changes, and inquiries,
• Collaborate with benefits providers to resolve issues and ensure timely administration of benefits programs,
4. Leave and Attendance Management:
• Track and monitor employee attendance, leaves, and time-off requests,
• Administer leave policies and assist employees with leave-related inquiries,
5. Compliance and Reporting:
• Stay current with HR laws and regulations and ensure company policies are complying,
• Prepare and submit HR-related reports to management as required,
6. HR Communications:
• Communicate HR policies, procedures, and updates to employees,
• Help create and distribute HR-related communications,
7. Assist in HR Projects:
• Participate in HR projects such as activity transfer (desktop procedure creation), HR system implementation, or process improvement initiatives.
- At least a Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field (preferred),
- 4+ years of experience in HR administrative roles, with a focus on HR operations,
- Fluent in Spanish and good level of English,
- Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices of the Spanish market,
- Proficiency in HRIS software and Microsoft Office Suite,
- Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills,
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy,
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills,
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion,
- Problem-solving abilities.
