About Porto and the position:
o support our European intensive growth, the Group has decided to build a Center based in Porto with the aim to provide administrative and financial support to the European subsidiaries. In this context, we are looking for a Senior Project Manager.
Additional job description
• Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of strategic IT and digital projects across multiple countries and business units; from Study phase until the transition to RUN and Support;
• Translate business objectives and IT Department objectives into actionable project plans, ensuring alignment with corporate and IT strategy;
• Define project scope, timelines, resources, governance structures, and budgets for large-scale initiatives;
• Monitor execution and progress through KPIs, dashboards, and data insights, ensuring value delivery and accountability;
• Actively manage program interdependencies, risks, and change impacts across complex project landscapes;
• Lead project governance, including steering committees and senior stakeholder reporting (internal and external);
• Support Business areas to Drive organizational change management and user adoption strategies, ensuring sustainable transformation;
• Manage relationships with external vendors, software publishers, and implementation partners, ensuring quality and performance;
• Ensure project delivery complies with internal policies, data governance, cybersecurity, and global IT standards;
• Promote innovation, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing across the PMO and broader organization.
Minimum/Essential Skills/Qualifications
· 7+ years of project/program management experience in IT and digital transformation, ideally in an international context;
· Experience in Professional services industry or IT is highly valued;
· Proven experience leading projects at minimum in several of these fields: ERP systems, CRM platforms, Master Data Management, Business Intelligence, and digital innovation;
· Strong background in managing large project budgets with full accountability for financial planning, forecasting, and cost control;
· Demonstrated experience in vendor and external partner management, including contracts, SLAs, and performance tracking;
· Experienced in project portfolio governance, managing senior-level stakeholders including C-level and external partners;
· Ability to lead interdependent projects within large-scale transformation programs;
· Experience in the use of project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, ServiceNow, Smartsheet, or equivalents;
· Skilled in Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies;
· Fluent in English; French is a strong asset.
· PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum, other certifications are highly desirable;
· Ability to travel in Europe at least once per month.
