Job description

ABOUT PORTO & POSITION

To support Alten’s continued growth in Portugal, the Group is strengthening its ServiceNow Competence Center based in Porto.
In this context, we are looking for a ServiceNow Developer to join our growing team and contribute to the development, configuration, and support of ServiceNow solutions aligned with business needs.

This is an exciting opportunity for an early-career professional eager to grow their technical expertise on a market-leading platform within an international and collaborative environment. This is a hybrid position based in Porto, Portugal, with a primary functional focus on IT Service Management (ITSM) and Human Resources Service Delivery (HRSD) modules.

The Challenge we have for you

As a ServiceNow Developer, you will be responsible for developing, configuring, and supporting solutions across the ServiceNow platform, ensuring timely delivery, technical quality, and adherence to best practices.

You will assist in the implementation and continuous enhancement of ServiceNow applications and workflows, working under the guidance of senior team members. Your role includes configuring and customizing platform components such as Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, Flow Designer workflows, and Service Catalog items.

You will also support troubleshooting activities by diagnosing issues, performing root cause analysis, and implementing effective fixes. Working closely with business stakeholders and internal technical teams, you will gather requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions. Additionally, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of ITSM and HRSD modules in line with ServiceNow standards.

Participation in code reviews, testing, and validation activities to ensure platform stability and solution quality
