ABOUT PORTO & POSITION:

 

To support our European intensive growth, the Group has decided to build a large Shared Services Center based in Porto. In this context, we are seeking a SAP HR Expert & HRIS BA, to join our Shared Services Centre and support the overall ongoing Transformation Program. This is an exciting opportunity to support the transformation of our European SAP HR Organization driving them to operational excellence. 

 

The SAP HR Expert & HRIS BA is responsible for proposing, designing, implementing SAP Human Resource (SAP HCM) solutions, to meet the specific needs of the organization. 

This role involves close collaboration with HR, IT, and other business stakeholders to optimize HR processes and support initiatives that enhance employee experience.

Analyzing existing HR processes related to SAP and other systems as Talentsoft Cegid, configuring and customizing SAP modules, troubleshooting, and providing ongoing support to maintain an efficient and user-friendly HR management system.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Analyze existing HR processes and recommend solutions to optimize HR operations;
  • Gather and document business requirements, translating these into technical specifications;
  • Continuously seek and implement improvements to enhance employee experience and HR productivity. Design solutions incorporating multiple technologies and ensuring seamless data integration;
  • SAP HCM Configuration & Customization: modules PA, OM, Time Management, CATS, FITV. Global understanding of SAP Fiori Portal;
  • Troubleshooting & Support: Provide 3rd level support for SAP HR-related issues/requests. Work with SAP support teams to resolve escalated issues or bugs and apply notes where applicable;
  • Training & Documentation: Document configurations and enhancements. Support HR teams with clear, user-friendly documents and communication. Contribute to digital initiatives, leveraging tools to enhance training programs and adoption;
  • Stakeholder Management & Communication: Serve as a link between HR, IT, and global teams to align system capabilities with business needs. Work closely with project managers and technical teams to ensure system integrity and performance. 

Minimum/Essential Skills/Qualifications

 

  • Knowledge and experience around SAP HR/HCM modules, including Personnel Administration (PA), Organizational Management (OM), Time Management, CATS, FITV. Global understanding of SAP Fiori Portal;
  • Knowledge about SAP ECC6 and SAP S4HANA in regard with HCM solutions;
  • Proficient in ABAP debugging, SAP query reporting, and integration technologies, and digital learning tools;
  • Business Process Knowledge: Deep understanding of HR processes;
  • Experience with managing HRIS and digital HR projects in a structured environment.

Qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Human Resources, or a related field;
  • At least 5 years of experience in SAP HR/HCM, both in ECC6 and S4HANA;
  • SAP HCM certification is required;
  • Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations affecting HR context;
  • Background in Enterprise service, or industrial CIO organization is a plus;
  • Advanced English level;
  • Capacity to travel (punctual travels in Europe);
  • Experience in working with global teams and in multi-cultural environments.
