ABOUT PORTO & POSITION:

ServiceNow Platform Architecture refers to ensuring scalability, security and consistency of the ServiceNow platform currently deployed within the ALTEN Group, to properly support the harmonization of processes and technologies across businesses and locations

Our Information Systems and Technology (IS&T) enables the digital transformation worldwide through competence centers and multi-disciplinary teams such as Front-Office, Back-Office, EUS, IT Operations, Security and Office of CIO.
The Group IS&T sets the strategy to sustain business and support functions operations through technology, systems and cyber-defense, providing common system applications and infrastructure services worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

Platform & Technological Debt Management

• Oversee the design and build of solutions to meet business requirements;
• Continuously assess platform state versus best practices and standard to determine improvement and back-to-standard plan;
• Enforce best practices and communicate the value of respecting them;
• Own the gap analysis and arbitration cards;
  Conduct Health Scan result analysis to support platform compliance;
• Ensure that internal or external consultants conduct all implementation work in accordance with the ServiceNow Competence Center delivery processes and best practices;
• Define solutions to enhance the delivery quality, such as the instance checks;
• Check that the technical documentation is up-to-date and detailed enough to guarantee mastery over the state of the platform;
• Conduct deep-dive technical troubleshooting and issue resolution for incidents impacting the platform;

Data and Integration Governance

• Collaborate with ALTEN Enterprise Architects about Master Data Management;
• Collaborate with ALTEN Enterprise Architects about the current integrations with the ALTEN I.S to improve them;
• Participate in new integrations design and build to ensure inputs and outputs data quality and consistency;
• Assist the Head of ServiceNow Competence Center in adjusting the platform roadmap based on other ALTEN solutions’ one;

Technology Value Assessment

• Assess the usages of each platform application to identify value optimization axis;
• Analyze the new releases to highlight the new features the business can leverage and enhance the gained value, but also the impacts to be anticipated during platform upgrades;
• Conduct opportunity analysis regarding new applications to be deployed, in regard of the transformation program goals, to support business cases to be designed with the Businesses and Head of ServiceNow Competence Center;

• 8+ years industry experience, experience in technical leadership - leading larger teams;
• Demonstrated ability to map solutions to address client business issues and problems;
• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field;
• Significant experience in ServiceNow development and implementation, especially on ITSM, HRSD and CMDB scopes;
• Experience in IT solution architecture and understanding of enterprise architecture;
• Strong proficiency with JavaScript, AngularJS, and other ServiceNow supported technologies;
• Strong understanding of ITIL processes, the CMDB and the ServiceNow CSDM;
• Exceptional problem-solving capability and ability to think strategically;
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
• ServiceNow certifications in System Administrator, Application Developer, and Implementation Specialist (on two distinct platform applications) are highly desirable;
• Experience in strategy, business development, finance and budgeting desirable;
• Fluent in English OR French;
• Experience working in a relevant industry is helpful, but not required.
