ABOUT PORTO & POSITION:
In order to support our European intensive growth, the Group has decided to build a large Shared Services Center based in Porto. In this context, we are seeking a Senior Treasury Analyst to join our international and multicultural team. This role is pivotal in ensuring efficient cash management and liquidity control across the Group. You will be responsible for managing liquidity, consolidating forecasts, and performing detailed analysis to ensure efficient cash management across the Group.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Cash Management & Liquidity Control:
- Oversee and control Group cash pooling and other centralized cash management processes,
- Establish daily liquidity positions, ensuring optimal cash utilization,
- Perform detailed analysis of cash flows and variances,
Payments Control:
- Generate, validate, and monitor payments, ensuring accuracy and security.
Troubleshoot anomalies and resolve issues promptly, - Monitor confirmation and settlement of financial operations (e.g., FX, NeuCP).
Forecasting & Analysis:
- Consolidate short-term and long-term treasury forecasts across multiple entities/currencies,
- Monitor and analyze forecast accuracy, identifying risks and opportunities,
- Monitor fees and costs related to treasury operations.
Process Optimization & Reporting:
- Support continuous improvement of treasury processes and systems,
- Prepare regular reports for senior management on liquidity and funding requirements,
- Compliance & Risk Management,
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and regulatory requirements,
- Assist in managing financial risks related to liquidity and funding.
Minimum/Essential Skills/Qualifications
PROFILE:
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field,
- Minimum 5 years in Treasury or Corporate Finance within an international environment,
- Strong knowledge of cash pooling, liquidity management, and forecasting,
- Proficiency in treasury management systems (e.g., Kyriba) and Excel,
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail,
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a multicultural team,
- Proactive and solution-oriented approach.
