ABOUT PORTO & POSITION:


To support our European intensive growth, the Group has decided to build a Centre based in Porto with the aim to provide administrative and financial support to the European subsidiaries. In this context, we are seeking for an HR Generalist who will be responsible for ensuring accurate HR operations, supporting the employee lifecycle, and contributing to the smooth running of day-to-day HR processes. This role will report to the HR Manager.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare and process monthly payroll in coordination with external providers;
  • Enter, update, and maintain employee data in the HRIS system;
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance of employee records and documentation;
  • Manage and monitor IEFP programs, including administrative follow-up and candidate coordination;
  • Support the full onboarding process, from documentation to integration and induction sessions;
  • Conduct regular follow-ups with newcomers and support their integration journey;
  • Monitor and coordinate probation period reviews, ensuring timely communication with managers;
  • Assist in implementing HR policies, procedures, and internal initiatives;
  • Act as a point of contact for employees, providing guidance on HR-related questions;
  • Contribute to employee engagement activities;
  • Ensure compliance with internal standards, local legislation, and HR best practices.

Minimum/Essential Skills/Qualifications

PROFILE:

  • Degree in Psychology, Human Resources, or related fields;
  • 2–4 years of experience in an HR Generalist or similar role;
  • Knowledge of HRIS systems, particularly SAP and ServiceNow;
  • Strong understanding of HR operations, payroll processes, and employee lifecycle management;
  • Agile, dynamic, and hands-on, with a proactive approach to problem-solving;
  • Open, collaborative, and eager to grow in a fast-paced environment;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • English mandatory and French is a strong plus;
    Strong attention to detail, organization, and confidentiality;
  • Ability to build trust and work effectively with employees and managers at different levels.
