ABOUT THE COMPANY:

ALTEN is a multinational group created more than 30 years ago, specialized in consulting services, information technology and engineering services to the main companies in the market. ABOUT PORTO & POSITION:

To support our European intensive growth, the Group has decided to build a Center based in Porto with the aim to provide administrative and financial support to the European subsidiaries. In this context, we are seeking for an Accounts receivable french speaker.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Customer and Bank Accounting Management:

  • Enter received payments,
  • Perform customer account reconciliation and monitoring,
  • Monitor bank accounts and perform daily reconciliations,
  • Enter bank fees.


2. Reporting and Analysis:

  • Analyze outstanding customer credits/debits and suspense accounts,
  • Perform bank reconciliations and analyze discrepancies,
  • Manage intercompany transfers: Track financial transfers between group entities and collections,
  • Participate in closing processes and audits.

Internal Collaboration:

  • Work closely with various departments (accounting, treasury, sales, and collections),
  • Contribute to the reorganization of scopes and process optimization.

Profil

PROFILE:

  • BsC degree in accounting or related field, you have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role,
  • Fluent in French and good level of english,
  • Rigorous and dynamic, you possess a strong analytical mindset. A good communicator (both written and oral) and diplomatic, you will naturally assert yourself with internal stakeholders and suppliers,
  • You are proficient in Excel and SAP.
