ABOUT PORTO & POSITION:

To support our intensive growth, the Group has decided to build a Service Center based in Porto, with a permanent specialized internal team to support the group European subsidiaries. We'll soon be up to 300 dedicated members within our multinational company.

In this context, we are seeking for a SAP BI Senior Specialist/Developer, for a hybrid position in Porto. In this position, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining SAP BI solutions to support our business intelligence and analytics needs. You will work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver high-quality BI solutions. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in SAP BI development, data modelling, and analytics.

KEY RESPONSABILITIES:

• Design, develop, and implement SAP BI solutions using SAP BW 7.5 on HANA, ABAP language, CDS views, HANA views, Analysis for Office, SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI;
• Gather business requirements, analyse data sources, and design data models to support reporting and analytics needs;
• Develop and maintain SAP BW data models, Data Providers, transformations, and data extraction processes;
• Design and develop SAP reports, and dashboards to visualize data and provide actionable insights;
• Perform data integration, data cleansing, and data transformation activities to ensure data quality and integrity;
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to understand BI requirements, priorities, and objectives;
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior developers and BI analysts;
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP BI solutions and data integration processes;
• Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP BI technologies, tools, and best practices;
• Provide user support (training, access management).

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES: 

• Proven experience as a SAP BI Specialist/Developer;
• Strong knowledge of SAP BW 7.5 on HANA;
• Proficency in ABAP language, CDS views, HANA views;
• Sound experience in Analysis for Office, SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI;
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams;
• Fluent in English is mandatory. Fluency in French is preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master’s degree (or equivalent years of experience);
• Relevant SAP certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate - Business Intelligence) are desirable.
